FIRST STAGE RACE OF 2023 FOR CANYON//SRAM GENERATION

CANYON//SRAM Racing enters its first stage race of 2023, starting the three-day Vuelta Extremadura Fémenina on Friday, 10 March. The team’s roster is Justyna Czapla, Agua Marina Espinola Salinas, Diane Ingabire, Valentine Nzayisenga and Daniela Schmidsberger.

The tour starts with a short time trial on Friday evening, followed by an undulating stage and a queen mountain stage with a summit finish on Sunday. The 2.2 stage race allows CANYON//SRAM Generation riders to experience back-to-back racing and develop teamwork skills.

Agua Marina says, “We aim to enjoy racing and to learn how to race and work together. We have some new riders in the team, so it’s important to understand each other in race situations. We can expect a good performance for the stage 1 team time trial.”
