Rosa Klöser Germany
Rosa Klöser is a breakout star of the ever-strengthening gravel scene, having made a rapid rise since her competitive racing debut in 2022 – while simultaneously pursuing her PhD. She truly announced herself in 2024 with a standout victory at the prestigious Unbound 200, alongside several podium finishes in the UCI World Gravel Series.
That exposure opened the door to further opportunities, including an on-road contract with CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto. In 2025, Rosa continued to prioritise gravel racing as a privateer, with her success increasing exponentially as she claimed no fewer than eight off-road victories, including the German National Championships.
While her road racing programme comprised just eight race days in total, she made every one of them count. Four months into her professional road career, she lined up at arguably the biggest one-day race on the calendar, Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift. With an inherent knack for the rough stuff, she performed remarkably well, finishing just outside the top 30; the concluding lap of the Roubaix velodrome was her first ever time on a track. Then, at Tour de Suisse in June, she impressed her well-seasoned teammates with the value she brought to the team, helping to secure a third-place finish in the general classification.
Rosa’s exceptional gravel prowess, combined with her burgeoning road ambitions, make her a highly promising and exciting prospect for the years ahead. When she first signed with CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto, she spoke about the advantages of blending the two disciplines.
“With more and more high-profile riders entering the gravel scene and competing in gravel events, adapting to new ways of racing and thinking is essential. The lessons I learn from road racing will come in handy, as the depth of the women’s gravel peloton allows for increasingly strategic racing.”
With innovative talent identification approaches such as the Zwift Academy, and a focus on riders from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, Rosa is a natural and refreshing fit for CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto.
