Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney Poland

Were you watching when the 2024 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift was decided by just four seconds?

Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney cemented her place in cycling folklore as she clung to the yellow jersey in a relentless, awe-inspiring battle from the Col du Glandon to the summit of the legendary Alpe d’Huez. That final stage will remain etched in the memories of onlookers for years to come, with suspense and excitement amplified by the closest winning margin in the history of the Tour de France or Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

Meteoric TDFFAZ triumph aside, Kasia has consistently showcased her exceptional talent year after year, firmly establishing herself among the very highest echelons of the sport. Her prestigious victories include the 2018 Trofeo Alfredo Binda, 2019 Amstel Gold Race, 2024 La Flèche Wallonne, and her first-ever rainbow jersey at the 2023 UCI Gravel World Championships.

In her ninth year with CANYON//SRAM Zondacrypto, Kasia continued to demonstrate her trademark consistency and omni-presence at the front of races, despite a hard crash at her favourite Strade Bianche that impacted her early-season performance. Highlights of 2025 include a pair of fourth-place finishes at Ronde van Vlaanderen and La Flèche Wallonne, a General Classification podium at the Tour de Suisse, a runner-up placing in the European Championships Road Race, and claiming the Polish National Road title in emphatic, joyous fashion.

Returning to that iconic race in France, she again featured on the General Classification podium in 2025, marking four consecutive years on the TDFFAZ podium – 3rd, 3rd, 1st, and 3rd – along with the Queen of the Mountains polka dot jersey in 2023.

Kasia’s versatile and tenacious racing style is contrasted by her relaxed and uplifting character off the bike, underpinned by unwavering determination, earning her an enthusiastic global fanbase.

Regardless of where her career heads next, Kasia has already carved out her legacy as a true cycling icon, with her remarkable performances and captivating presence leaving an indelible mark on fans and future generations of riders.
