Chiara Consonni Italy
Known for her infectious personality and outgoing nature which is often seen in post-race celebrations, Chiara Consonni has made a name for herself in both track and road racing, excelling in events that showcase her powerful sprint and tactical awareness.
The Italian rider boasts over twenty victories in her glittering career, including wins in prestigious one-day races such as Dwars Door Vlaanderen, Flanders Diamond Tour and Grand Prix du Morbihan Féminin. She has also enjoyed significant success in stage races, with three wins at the Giro d’Italia as well as victories at the UAE Women’s Tour, Tour of Chongming Island, and Simac Ladies Tour.
In 2025, Chiara added to both tallies at the Tour de Pologne Women, claiming two dominant stage wins and the overall classification – finally getting the monkey off her back and earning her first victories in CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto colours. It was a consistently strong year, with seven podiums overall, three of them at WorldTour level.
On the track, Chiara is a multiple European and World champion, adding the 2025 Team Pursuit World Title to the one she claimed in 2022. Her most remarkable achievement came at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where she won gold in the Madison – an extraordinary feat in her Olympic debut, and one that gave enormous confidence and motivation for the future
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, the Italian rider will continue to bring this accumulated energy, ambition, and physical prowess to CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto – the dream team she admired in her younger years. She came into the squad with clear goals for herself:
“My objectives for the upcoming seasons are to grow both as a person and an athlete, and to win a classic race in the North, which are my favorite types of races. I believe this team aligns perfectly with my goals, as it’s made up of people with great experience and motivation.”
Keep an eye out for Chiara raising her arms in the bright CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto colours – more exuberant celebrations are sure to follow.
