A dramatic final stage of Setmana Ciclista Valenciana saw the GC lead change hands as Justine Ghekiere (APB) overtook her teammate to win the overall by one second.

Ricarda Bauernfeind was CANYON//SRAM Racing’s best-placed rider on the stage, sprinting to 15th from a 27-rider group.

While the GC changed at the top, there was only little movement further down with Neve finishing 14th and Ricarda 15th. Neve kept 2nd in the youth classification.

“It was a tester to see where I am at for the start of the season, what I need to focus on and where to improve for later in the season. I’m happy with my form for the first race of the season, but there are several things to work on,” says Neve.
