Pauline at MTB World Championships
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot starts the team relay today on the opening day of the UCI MTB World Championship in Mont-Saint-Anne, Canada. Ferrand-Prévot will then race the Women Elite XCO World Championship race on Saturday 31 August.
Ferrand-Prévot landed in Canada last week and rode the XCO elite women’s track for the first time on Monday.
“I really like the course. I felt smooth, and super relaxed. I know I’m in good shape and I’ve had a nice final preparation at home in the last two weeks. I feel good physically and mentally and I want to keep that in these last days. I’ll do my very best on Saturday and see what result that brings,” said Ferrand-Prévot who will use tonight’s team relay as her final intense session before her XCO race.
The Women Elite XCO World Championship race will start at 12:15EDT | 18:15CEST and will be broadcast live on Red Bull TV.
