CANYON//SRAM RACING 6TH IN TTT IN SWEDEN
CANYON//SRAM Racing had a solid performance in today’s team time trial in Vargarda, Sweden, to finish in sixth place. The team started with just five riders for the 35.6km course, and Alena Amialisuik was forced to use her road bike after her TT bike was held up in flight travel.
“We rode strongly as a unit. It was the first TTT for Neve, Shari and Maud, and I think it was a really good experience for them,” said Pauliena after the race.
“We had a small issue at the turnaround point that cost us some time, but for the rest we were riding smoothly, and each rider was strong. We’re pleased with what we could achieve today.”
The team’s lineup of Alena Amialiusik, Neve Bradbury, Shari Bossuyt, Maud Oudeman and Pauliena Rooijakkers will be the same that will race tomorrow’s Vårgårda WestSweden Road Race.
