Stage 3 in Aretxabaleta
Stage three of WWT Emakumeen XXXI Bira was a day for the breakaway. A 10-rider move went clear on a stage that was climb after climb.
Amy Pieters (DLT) won the stage with Annemiek van Vleuten (MTS) holding the leader’s jersey. Elena Cecchini was our best placed rider in 17th position, and stays 1:32 seconds behind the GC leader with the final stage to come in Iuretta.
