Today’s stage two of Ceratizit Challenge Vuelta was one for the climbers as riders faced a 7km uphill individual time trial. Kasia Niewiadoma was our best-placed rider finishing in 8th place. Alena Amialiusik also had a powerful ride, just a few seconds further back in 12th place.

Starting the day in third on the general classification (GC) after her podium performance yesterday, Elise Chabbey also put in a strong ride to finish in the top 20. Elise is now 5th on the GC going into tomorrow’s stage three.
