- Directing or supporting the team from the car at selected races, including leading pre-race meetings and post-race reviews.
- Supporting equipment, bike setup, TT projects, aerodynamic and apparel testing in collaboration with the Performance teams.
- Working closely with other team performance directors, nutritionists, mechanics and technical partners to support overall rider performance.
- Contributing to performance research, analysis and the continued development of our coaching methods and processes.
Your profile
What matters most to us is that you combine strong coaching expertise with practical cycling knowledge, excellent communication, the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment and a hunger to drive the team’s performance forward.
Ideally, you bring:
- Significant experience in high-performance cycling, ideally within a professional team environment.
- Qualifications or a strong background in coaching, exercise physiology, sports science or a related field.
- Experience developing and managing structured training programmes for individual athletes.
- Experience planning and delivering training camps and practical experience with performance activities such as aerodynamic or equipment testing within a team environment.
- Strong understanding of coaching methods, training loads, physiological and performance testing, and performance data.
- Practical knowledge of race tactics and professional cycling, with experience as a Sport Director or equivalent experience preferred.
- A UCI Sport Director qualification, or the ability to obtain one.
- The ability to communicate clearly with riders and staff and build strong, trusting working relationships.
- A proactive, curious and collaborative approach, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical actions.
- A valid driving licence.
- Professional fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
