CANYON//SRAM RACING KICKSTART 2024 IN CALIFORNIA

CANYON//SRAM Racing officially started its 2024 season preparations with an 11-day training camp in California. Twelve of the Women’s World Tour team riders made the trip, riding from San Diego to Los Angeles and further north to Thousand Oaks across various terrain.

The training camp also allowed the team to visit partners Canyon, Oakley, Giro and Zwift and meet staff from SRAM and Hammerhead in the winter sunshine.

“We had a big adventure!” said Alex Morrice.

“We rode on different terrain and saw some really cool places. I enjoyed spending the whole time all riding together. The highlight was when we were on gravel almost all day long, going into the depths of the mountains.”

Unfortunately, Maike van der Duin injured her leg in a small crash during the training camp. Maike will take time to fully recover with the aim to rejoin the team in January.
