READY FOR THE FINAL RACE OF THE SEASON
CANYON//SRAM Generation has its final race of the 2022 season when it takes on Tour Cicliste Féminin International de l’Ardéche in France. The seven-day tour starts tomorrow, Tuesday 6 September.
The team’s roster is Ricarda Bauernfeind, Agua Marina Espinola Salinas, Antonia Niedermaier, Valentine Nzayisenga and Olivia Shililifa. The seven road stages cover more than 750km and 10,000m of elevation.
The queen stage five, with over 2300m elevation and a summit finish on Mount Lozere, is anticipated as the most decisive day for the general classification. However, Tour de l’Ardéche is renowned for breakaways and aggressive racing, giving the riders a chance to show their development and race instinct to create and grasp their own opportunities.
